Founding leadership positions
Program Director
Leads the design and delivery of the IAYR Winter Research Program from start to finish.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design the program curriculum, coordinate mentors and lecturers, manage the weekly schedule, and oversee the closing presentations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Strong organizational skills, experience with education or program design, and genuine enthusiasm for youth research.
Academic Director
Ensures the rigor and quality of IAYR’s research methodology and mentorship structure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop the research methodology curriculum, recruit and train mentors, and set academic standards for student projects.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Research experience (undergraduate or higher), strong communication skills, and a passion for mentoring young researchers.
Operations Director
Keeps IAYR’s teams, timelines, and logistics running smoothly across time zones.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage internal processes, coordinate across teams, track program logistics, and support day-to-day operations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with an international, remote team.
Communications & Media Director
Shapes how IAYR tells its story to students, mentors, and partners around the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage IAYR’s brand voice, social media presence, outreach content, and public communications.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Strong writing and visual storytelling skills, and an eye for clear, credible communication.
Partnerships & Development Director
Builds relationships with universities, laboratories, NGOs, and educational organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and cultivate partnerships, manage outreach to institutions, and support fundraising efforts.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Confident relationship-builder with interest in international education or nonprofit partnerships.

Universities, laboratories, NGOs, researchers, and educational organizations are invited to collaborate with IAYR to expand research access for students worldwide.
